I've setup the basics of my flounder site. Took a bit of fiddling, but I think I've got the hang of this. Nothing advanced has been broached as yet.

If you're looking for a quick intro, there's not much to be said. I found the gemini-web (and the smolweb, in general) through some posts on mastodon when it was picking up and everyone was talking about it.

I've been surfing this side of the web (what I've come to call _geminispace_) for while, but I'm yet to really sink my teeth into it. Most I've contributed is a shallow investment of a couple of posts on Midnight Pub. In that sense, this, today, is my attempt at drawing blood.

As of now I'm trying to decide whether I should maintain the journal as a separate file or simply integrate it as part of my homepage. An index of site links followed by daily updates. But, I tend to ramble and anything I add as an _update_ might really be stretching the definition in terms of relevance.

More a personal categorisation peeve than anything. Ah well, while I work that out, please feel free to walk about and read the sparse literature of my making.

And, hopefully, we'll see each other around!
